Time Bandits and Baron M are both classics. Older so some younger people probably don't know they exist but both are worth a watch.
The Dungeons & Dragons Show Is Exciting, But 1 Detail Makes Me Nervous It Will Repeat An Honor Among Thieves Disappointment
I don't know we'll see how it goes. Netflix generally like any other network only cancels things that people don't watch or are too expensive to create (Which I think is what happened to Dark Crystal). As far "I'm not ok with this" it was cancelled because of covid tho I agree it was a good show.

It was a great show. The story was told. They don't have to continue anything.
A Dungeons & Dragons Show Based On This 40-Year-Old Setting Would Be As Hard To Watch As House Of The Dragon
I think the House of the Dragons comparison is stilly if an audience wants a story in a Fantasy setting the story being told is the only thing that matters. People enjoy HOTD and Game Of Thrones just as much for characters within them. A great story is all that's needed. DnD simply has an endless setting for one. The recent movie was a fun movie. I'm assuming it simply didn't break any box-office numbers otherwise we'd be hearing more about a sequel or the TV series would of gone ahead. What about a new animated series revamp of the original Cartoon from the 80s? Good stuff. Essentially Jumanji but DnD. It would be a start at least.
