I'm old school in my opinions towards a lot of the MCU and what they've done, but especially lately. Taking liberty with twisted storylines because it's what they believe and not what Stan and Jack originally put out there is disrespectful to them and us as fans. But again, I'm a fan so I'll stream...

1st of all, to say he is different from his comic book counterpart because he rougher around the edges...a worldwide assassin is just that either way. But the problem is, now they have him on live action, so it's more intimidating for the viewers. Especially in this genre. So if he picks up the shield there will always be that question of his integrity in the back of the minds of the folks watching..."Is he gonna snap...and if so, when?" Just like there was when he was carrying the shield in the comics...all the way up till they brought Steve back. Which they could've done with either the S.A.B.E.R. or even the book of Vishanti. But it's still early and Tony hasn't Doomed up yet, so who knows. We still have the Doom flick and Secret Wars...everyone enjoy 😉
