I think there will have to be some change in her, as we have seen. At the same time, consider her exchange with the ghoul. She continues to espouse The Golden Rule. Like the game, there is always the matter of choice. What will make Lucy's journey compelling is that she will have to work out for herself how much of what she has grown up to believe is truth and right lie within her. How much she truly believes it and carries it forward and how she balances these beliefs against the harsh reality of the world around her. She may become less naive as time goes on, but if the writers continue to be clever, they will find that sweet spot. You can choose to play a hero or a heel or something in between in Fallout. I think for the show to work, Lucy has to remain a hero. She has to stand apart from Maximus and the ghoul and I think she will.
