Did the author of this article actually read ANY of these books? The Companions does NOT follow the adventures of Drizzt, he's only in the prologue and the epilogue! And Jarlaxle isn't even mentioned at all in the entire Cleric Quintet. You say that the series has "excellent content around the drow mercenary Jarlaxle Baenre" but he didn't meet Cadderly until long after that series takes place.
