Punk didn't get his precious main event either, there is one main event, and that is the final match of the event as a whole. That belongs to cena/Rhodes. Cm Punk is getting his consolation prize for good behavior. Jey never deserved a main event because his wrestling and promos are hot garbage. Simple as. Oh and WWE lies constantly to the fans and it's talent, how is this surprising?

I'm not reading that book you posted but clearly you didn't read the article. It clearly stated that winning the royal rumble in the past did not always mean you got the main event, just meant you got a title shot. They were pointing out that ALL of the promotional material said the winner of the 2025 RR would be in the main event of mania. I don't care for jey so idc, but at least read the article before posting nonsense.

Man this game is great. I know a lot of people will take issue with these kind of features, but it's usually people just angry they had to work for it in the past. As a long time player I'm glad to see these options available, if you wanna do it old school you can, but getting angry because people have the option not to just crazy

The very thing you are unwilling to do is what will get you into the game. Once I took the time to find a main weapon I like (originally the insect glaive, then the greatsword, finally the lance (although in the beta I really enjoyed the charge blade) it started to click why I was collecting mats and why that incremental and granular progression was so engaging. But to each their own

Some people just don't like granular progression, I get it, but personally I love it. I love working my but off, fighting the same monster 15 times to get one rare drop...that I need 4 more of.. To make one piece of armor. That's the stuff that I love because every time I fight a monster I learn it a little more, and in turn, love it a little more. I can see how for some it would be tedious, but I think it's beautiful. It took me a long time to see that beauty, but I'm so glad I did

I couldn't be less surprised. The worst part is that the reason DA:TV was so mid (at best) was because the suits in charge wanted to follow the outline of an agenda that always leads to a game underperforming sales wise. Not to mention the fact, if they wanted to play by an agenda at least go full force with it. They did it entirely half a$$Ed like they were trying to be appease everyone but only dissapointed everyone instead. They want their cake and to eat it too.
