As an escape for entertainment sake in my opinion. The overall Yellowstone Series in relationship to the current TV and recent shows competition 9/10. Casting 10/10.

Predictability 7/10.

Overall writing, cast scripts, interactions and believability 8/10.

Entertainment value and anticipation of next episode 9/10.

Dramas are what the name implies and with creative differences (Executive Producers, Actors, Writers and combos of those) provided quality Entertainment! My only knock, the Profanity. Great Writers and Actors are better served with their creativity and abilities beyond the pedestrian. Taking the Lord's name in vain, pathetic. Dropping the F bomb from a ranch hand is expected, not necessary to to fill dialog.

The prequels were as good if not better as stand alones than the flagship series.

CASTING 10/10 with both prequels.

Just one guys opinion. If you haven't watched enjoy the prequels 1st.
