See All"A Violation of the Law": After ChatGPT's AI Attack on Studio Ghibli, Lawmakers Are Looking to Take Legal Action
1. Copying something with AI is not the same as taking inspiration from something. Its not human. It CANNOT add anything new.
2. It is so frankly silly to say that suing over people copying your art is useless, so don't try. Like, are you really gonna say, "it's useless to try to protect your work from people copying it, so just let it happen?" Silly.
3. If a real human copied another artists work and resold it, it would be illegal. Is that also okay in your book? Everyone is just allowed to copy everyone? Or is it only artists? What about authors, musicians, movies? Think about stuff before you say something that silly.
4. As for it creating a "legal minefield" copying and selling another artist's work as your own is illegal, AI or not.
5. Telling Ghibli to contribute to Chat Gpt??? To their own downfall? Probably the stupidest thing you have said. Thats like telling someone to contribute to burning down their own house. Do you realize what that would result in? REAL human artists put out of work, and instead of the unique art that is Studio Ghibli, we would get AI slop. This is so wrong I can't even express to you how wrong it is.
5. That last paragraph got you feeling smart? It's not. It's just as silly as the rest of this. It's not a guy "making a better mousetrap". It is a guy stealing your mousetrap design and selling it for himself. Respecfully, none of what you said makes any sense and is not based on reality. I hope you reconsider.
