Spider-Man isn't a title or rank, its a character; Peter Parker is Spider-man. Dick Grayson didn't become Batman. The problem with Miles is that he is a rehash of Spider-Man with extra powers. Invisibility (Sue Sorm), bio-electric ( electro, shocker). Miles plays on urban racial stereotypes, Peter has intellect, Miles depends on his Asian friend for his tech. Why does Miles need to be called Spider-Man? I dislike the multiverse in comics, it allows for lazy unoriginal writing , and dilutes the originality of the writers' creations.

I don't think the black goo needs further explanation, it was a biological weapon created by the engineers. I liked Prometheus. I felt like it accomplished what it set out to do. The horror aspect was there. The monsters weren't the xenomorphs, but the infected humans , worms ,engineer , all captured the essence. Visually it was stunning, the cast and dialogue was good. Romulus was much better than covenant in my opinion. Although the "child" was much to remenissent of Resurrection and I hated Resurrection Alien 3. The AVP series should be non canon.
