So, under the original time line. John did no hunting until after Mary died. Mary hunted a little bit here and there, but mostly tying up loose ends in her life. Dean and Sam were a toddler and baby. That's what you wanted? A Winchester show about... an average middle class family? It can't be a comedy because you know how it would end. The only alternate solution is, "Heaven Resets," would have just been one giant MotW series, because they would have no knowledge of everything that's ever happened.

Even going into the show I expected an alt. universe. I didn't like the Dean voice over. I'm fine with Dean being in it, and him messing with the multiverse... just not the voice overs. The WHOLE show really didn't need a narrator and the show would have been better hinting at surviving multi-verses after Chuck's rampage.

Edit: I guess another alternate could have been getting JDM for a brand new show that chronicles post Mary's death to the Pilot?
