See AllBefore From Season 4 Returns, Watch This 8-Year-Old Sci-Fi Horror Show Streaming On Netflix With A 95% RT Score
Dark is a fantastic show, but you pretty much need a scorecard to keep all the characters straight.
The Lord Of The Rings: The War Of The Rohirrim Digital Release Date Revealed After $15.4M Box Office Disappointment
How am I supposed to think of another reason the movie bombed when I didn't even go see it? All I have to go by is the reason why I personally did not go to see that, and why some of my friends did not go. We all did not go for the same reason - the decision to create a central character out of thin air simply for some reason of "representation" or demonstration of "girl power" was a huge turn off.
You can label that misogyny if you wish, but you'd be wrong.
I loved Eowyn's character in LOTR. She was a strong character but more importantly, she was as Tolkien wrote her. On the flip side, I did not like the expansion of Arwen's role because that was not in accordance with Tolkien.
Rings of power is a mess all around, but one of the main reasons for that is a decision to create a "character arc" for Galadriel that actually diminishes her. Her having any sort of romantic feelings for sauron is blasphemy.
The Rings Of Power Season 3 Confirmation Isn't Surprising After It ed This Prime Video Milestone
The Galadriel actress apparently believes that you convey strength by not moving your lips when you speak.
10 Things Lord Of The Rings' God, Eru Ilúvatar, Did In Middle-Earth History
Tolkien once wrote that his God, Eru Illuvatar, is God. Just a different name/perspective as it came down in his stories. It makes perfect sense when you also consider that he viewed his stories as myths of our world. Tolkien was a Christian, and his stories are about our world, so obviously, his God must be God.
Why Aragorn Is A Ranger In The Lord Of The Rings, Despite Being Gondor's Rightful King
The article says -woyhiut further explanation - that Arvedui "tried to claim the throne of Gondor...but failed.". In fact, his claim was flat-out rejected by the Steward and leadership of Gondor on the grounds that Isildur had never ruled Gondor. The reason why Aragorn hadn't tried to claim the crown earlier was that the legal basis of his claim already has been rejected more than a thousand years before.
So, Aragorn knew that to claim the crown of Gondor, he would have to earn it through deeds, and there y convince the people of Go for to recognize his claim.
Obviously, saving the city at the Pelennor Fields under the banner of the King, then leading the army to the Black Gates, looked pretty good on his resume.
The Rings Of Power Fact Check: Did Morgoth Really Force Sauron To Become Bad?
The idea that the show runners are just showing Sauron trying to manipulate others, and is not an attempt to rewrite canon, makes sense if there is a subsequent scene confirming that it is a lie.
But if there isn't a scene later confirming that it's a lie, then to the vast majority of viewers unfamiliar with the background writings, Sauron will have been telling the truth.
