I watched it but, apart from all the deaths and mayhem, I just wished Mr Sheridan did a little more research. “Alex of Sussex” was supposed to be the daughter of the Earl of Sussex - she’d have had a surname (Lady Alexandra Jones or whatever - check out Downton Abbey, Lady Mary Crawley was the daughter of the Earl of Grantham). Also, at Ellis Island, she unzipped her skirt when she was to be examined - zippers did not appear in clothing until the 1930s, and then only in Haute Couture. Finally, a six moth gestation baby on an outside patch, wrapped in his great aunt’s blanket and taking a bottle of goat milk? Hardly NICU!
