I thought it odd Big Trouble in Little China wasn't here myself. I actually love it and Flash Gordon. Guess it's time to get the Flash Gordon DVD out for a rewatch.
No Dean Wonderland? It had a 15 year old boy sent to an adult prison after being sentenced to death, wrongfully I might add. He wasn't the only kid there, either, so it's pretty rough. I doubt it would fly with certain people now and, needless to say, it would cause a lot of social commentary on whether people under 18 should or should not be held responsible for actions.
For Korra, I felt the whole series was disted. There was no set antagonist like with the original series. In the original, we KNEW the Fire Nation leader was the Big Bad at the ends before we ever got to it. In Korra, it seemed there was....nothing. It's enemies that were beaten in one arc was underwhelming. Putting bluntly, Aang had a purpose in his story, Korea did not.
Instead of extraterrestrial, they could make Gigan a Titan that someone enhanced to be a cyborg, keeping to a theme that humans are a threat. Just a thought there.
Actually they used the DVD cover of Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla while talking about Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla. The people in charge of picking the image screwed up bad. The 1974 Mechagodzilla had hardly any tail, so it didn't resemble the 2000's Mechagodzilla that much.
Hedorah would have been better than Anguirus. The creature actually produced acid rain and it toxic sludge was not something to face. Hedorah put one of Godzilla's eyes out in the movie Godzilla versus Hedorah.
It didn't say ranked, so it was just a list in no particular order. Personally, for me, Superman '78 was the best of the old ones. The first time he flew, I was like "WOW!". I was 12 years old, so for me, it was, and still is, a huge deal. 46 years later, I still watch the movie any opportunity I get.
If there is a sequel. Box office numbers can affect whether a sequel is filmed or not and Kraven's numbers are not looking good. It's a shame necause he is one of the more interesting villains.
Agreed. It was a short anime series, but when you sentence a teenager to a death sentence in a prison where they entertain people by dying, you've hit dark dark...
The problem I had with Masters of the Universe was it deviated from the original story so, so far. Had they stuck to Eternia only, it would have been better.
