If anything, the third movie should explore the Beetlejuice character’s origin. Like, what his real name was, and how is he so powerful? Setting aside the comedy aspects, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice showed audiences just how powerful Beetlejuice himself is, he was not only able to override people’s free-will, but he could essentially use them as puppets, even the so-called police force of the afterlife were easily subdued by him. He seemed to know things about the afterlife that the authorities of that world didn’t, like how to break into it.

I wonder if Paige, who is said to be more intelligent than Sheldon, will make an appearance? It seemed later Seasons of YS she seemed to be spiraling out of control. I wonder if she will continue down that path, or will something happen to snap her out of it?

Another question, in Young Sheldon, by the end of the last season Missy practically hated her twin brother, yet by the first season of TBBT they seemed to have mended their rift. I’m sure it wasn’t overnight, but I wonder how long it took for her to finally accepted him? And what was it that caused such a big rift between him and Georgie, it couldn’t just be the distance, it must be something else that caused resentment towards Sheldon.

I have always felt the Jedi's ideal of isolationism from attachment was the most flawed aspect of the Jedi Code. The Force is about being connected to everything, and yet the Jedi want to be isolated from life. They want you to stretch out with their feelings, yet ignore them, because they believe all feelings, even positive emotions can lead to the dark side. They basically want their people to be droids made of flesh.

Maybe they would have rediscovered the path of the J'edaii, they were an order of Force s who espoused Balance within the Force. They were comparable to any Jedi Master or Sith Lord in power, but they were too obsessed with their own individual balance and lost touch with reality. If Qui-Gon Jinn and Anakin could have revived some of their teachings, the focus on balance, but with an emphasis of helping others, rather than for selfish interests, then Anakin would have brought true balance to the Force, and the Galaxy.

They say some ghosts can’t move on until they’ve fulfilled some sort of unfinished business. In the original, one of their afflictions was that Barbara couldn’t have children, perhaps they were able to move on to the afterlife because they finished their unfinished business. I think they may have officially, unofficially adopted Lydia and helped Charles and Delia finish raising Lydia. The box of momentous in the attic hints that Lydia and Richard may have raised Astrid in Winter River for a time, perhaps seeing Lydia get married and have a family finished the Maitland’s unfinished business and allowed them to move on.
