For once, I agree with one of screenrant's articles. It baffles me as to why Pokémon didn't try to strike that happy medium between the old and new appeasing both old and new fans instead of creating a deeper fissure in the fanbase. You get that familarity with the fresh and new. Horizons can still feel fresh and do new things without being completely cut from the old familiar world old fans grew up with. I miss the world and characters built up around Ash more than Ash himself as much as I love him. I don't have anything to look forward to in Horizons. I hate how the show treats Legendary Pokémon.

The Fandom has never been more toxic. So I try to avoid it now.
