There is a potential for A Complete Unknown or Wicked to sneak past Anora or Emilia Pérez given the former's low nomination count and the latter's controversies. Neither would surprise me.

Interestingly, 7 of the 9 presidents portrayed were Republicans. The ones that weren't included Alexander Knox for Wilson (who was elected as a Democrat in 1912) and Anthony Hopkins for Amistad (John Quincy Adams was elected as a Democratic-Republican in 1824 and later became a Whig).

One who should have been nominated was Bruce Greenwood for his portrayal of John Fitzgerald Kennedy in Thirteen Days (2000), in the ing category.

"Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl" is very entertaining. One of the best animated films of the year. However, some other films have fallen through the cracks, like the lovely Studio Ponoc offering "The Imaginary" and another fun Netflix streamer called "That Christmas."

I am currently binge-watching the show and am in season 4. The only problem I have with the character of Mark is that they all talk about him being gay, but you never see him even hold hands with his so-called "boyfriends." I'm not asking for a big love scene, but if his representation is so important to the show, why isn't he allowed to show any intimacy like other characters on the show?
