I just read some reviews blaming Marvel for the problems in Born Again. BUT, my understanding of the situation is that Disney bought the rights, and Marvel no longer has any control over the show at all. Disney brought in an all-new production staff, changed the showrunner and the scripts, and added fake-looking CGI. Marvel would never have allowed all that!! I do not believe that Marvel would have done all that to our favorite Daredevil. I "might" be wrong, but I don't think so. This travesty is all on Disney. They tried to fix something that wasn't broken and, by doing so, made a huge mess. The one thing I agree with the reviewer about is the elimination of Karen and Foggy - why on earth would anyone in their right mind do that?? If it was a budgetary thing, they could have spent less on CGI cartoons and hired stuntmen for the fight scenes. I am so unimpressed with this mess that I am now watching the original series again! Chris Ord is the replacement showrunner?? Replace him with the one who did the original series!!
