I disagree with the presumption that luke fans are upset at him being flawed. What they are upset is that Luke did something random out of the scope of what we know to be his character. He tried to murder his nephew. Not guilty or depressed because of an accident or mistake. He was guilty and depressed because he tried to murder his nephew and by default created Kylo Ren.

I am shocked at the claims the author has about being an expert on comic book characters if he gets so many of the basics of wolverine wrong. I am no expert but even I know wolverine didn't get adamantium until well after WWII. And also that his healing factor was suppressed in the movie Logan allowing the adamantium poisoning to start affecting him.
