Toriyama had heavy involvement in the creation of daima. He also ed off the torch to Toyotarou during the creation of dragon Ball super. Anything he does from this point on would still technically be considered part of the Canon storyline. If he wants to continue giving fans a continued storyline or even a prequel of the storyline then just respect what the man does. He obviously had Toriyama's respect and approval. Comparatively in that world who are you? If he had Toriyama's respect and approval then you need to just shut your mouth and roll with it. If you don't want to watch anything he creates then don't.

GT would technically be before super if it were canon. So everything said above is plausible. Daima is supposed to be explaining the story of how the dragon balls came about to begin with.
