The character design for TBHX is stunning. I also like "Shiki" and "Devil-man Crybaby", where the characters look bizarre and silly.However it does work for the stories because the voice acting, music and scenes are done very well. The author appears to be broadly declaring that anime in general is inferior to TBHX. This has only aired 3 episodes from the 24 scheduled so far. It would be too soon to even make such a bold claim. It is a good anime, so far, but I don't suddenly need to condemn anime that existed prior to this, I don't have an elitist stance on the type of anime that I watch. I either like , love, or decide I don't like after 2nd or third episode. The story as a whole has to be good , it's as simple as that, and in anime the concepts are not monolithic, despite what the author is implying. This article reads more like a marketing ad campaign than an actual review.
