Sammie's Music In Sinners Explained & Why Remmick Wants It So Bad
The Movie “Sinners” was not racist at all, it was fictional, yet historically true with the racial tensions that did exist back in the 1930’s. The Jim Crow lifestyle in real form. In addition, I felt the movie, not only celebrated the African-American culture, but it celebrated the Asian, Irish, and Native American cultures. I’ll go as far as to say the movie expanded on the appreciation of several sub cultures, such as Hip hop culture, the cultural art of step dancing through river dancing, break dancing, popping and locking, Asian dragon dancing. The movie even conveyed the significance of holding onto traditions and the practice of magic. The movie was brilliant, and I’m so sorry if all a person got out of it, was that it that it was racist and lacked diversity, in which is very far from the truth.
