See AllWhy Does The MCU's Silver Surfer CGI Look So Weird
I think they got this right. While I liked the creative liberty taken in 2007 to make Galactus look like a Nebula rather than a 300 foot giant with a gaudy purple hat...no small problem depending on how you look at it, and on par with the notion of whether Spiderman's webs are more plausible coming from his body rather than mechanical web-shooters...it's a big universe, there's room for gaudy. It's really about the quality of the script, and while the 2007 film had redeemable parts, it was overall weak along with the first movie. I like what I see in this trailer and cast. Looking forward to it.
After Watching Captain America: Brave New World Again, I Can't Believe How Much Of What Could Have Been The Movie's Best Scenes Were Spoiled By Trailer Reveals
I agree that this could have been a better watching experience if I hadn't seen Red Hulk coming. I've been a comic collector since I was 13, but haven't read any since the late 80's. I knew there was a Red Hulk, but wasn't privy to it being Ross. Overall the movie was enjoyable, but the script, which is the usual superhero movie problem, could have had more punch. These movies kinda need to risk pushing being over the top. That can make them appear "too busy", but when you think about what the MCU and DCU project, reeling it in when the production budget is $300 million is also silly. When you have the Leader manipulating millions of people, Red Hulk destroying National monuments and causing untold property damage, the love story may get squeezed some...more carnage please...
Every Starship Enterprise In Star Trek Ranked, Worst To Best
Given that number's 8 and 2 were separate, number 2 should have been split between TOS and SNW versions. These are 2 distinct designs of ship.
James Gunn's DC Universe Has The Perfect Opportunity To Bring Alan Ritchson's 20-Year-Old Superhero Casting Full Circle
Ritchson would be a great Batman, very imposing and stiff, much like Reacher.
How was Batman alive at the end of The Dark Knight Rises?
Not always! Both have a decent track record, but both have suffered from quality control. For Marvel, the Ghost Rider movies and the Fantastic Four movies as examples. For DC, WW84 should have gone straight to video and the 3rd and 4th Batman movies of the 90's completed the full circle return to pay homage to the 1960's sideways LSD enhancing "Fatman" series...
Both Marvel and DC have other live action embarrassments as well. Even these days the cheapest contribution to a movie is the script...and clearly the most important element when you're budgeting hundreds of millions having already seen how disasters are produced. Someone needs to be in the mix to step up and say no to these poor scripts.
