The most raw and beautiful, in-ur-face, epic about finding community/family after the SHTF. We are forced to evaluate where we stand in the face of our known world disappearing within days. The fear is real but the bonds formed in desperation evolve into a family and a way forward. I refused to watch for years because of the Zombies. How wrong I was. How poignant and current this story remains. The entire cast, crew, writers and directors have created a legacy that will outlast our generation but give food for thought/ real ideas in survival after a future event and most importantly they remind us of our humanity and how we will choose our individual path but find shelter in those who survive with us.
