If Thor Doesn't Die In Avengers: Doomsday, I Know Exactly How The MCU Can Give Chris Hemsworth A Worthy Sendoff
I hope I'm not in the minority on this, but I don't want to see Thor die in the prime MCU. Ever.
After Rewatching All Of The Defenders, Jessica Jones' Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Return Already Makes Perfect Sense
Good article, no arguments with any of your points, but there really doesn't need to be any kind of "gateway" for Danny Rand or Luke Cage to appear. For different reasons, both have deep, vested interests in New York City as well as obvious connections to Murdoch, so both would be highly motivated to the effort to undermine the fascist criminal mayor. As a result, failing to include them would actually make no sense whatsoever.
MCU Daredevil’s Army Has The Perfect Way To Redeem One Of Netflix's Marvel Heroes
Great points, but an additional fact is that Danny Rand would have a direct stake in what's happening in New York, as he is essentially the Bruce Wayne of New York City. As a result, it couldn't make more perfect sense for him to be involved in Murdoch's campaign to free the city. Conversely, it would be absurd for him not to be included. I really hope that the writers understand this.
The MCU's Fantastic Four Exist In A Universe Without Other Superheroes, Confirms Marvel's First Steps Director
"we get to do something so new and so different."
Really? You mean, so new and different compared to last two iterations of FF, which were both in their own standalone universes without other super heroes, and which no one cares about? It's amazing that they can say this with a straight face.
Roberto Orci Dies At 51, Writer & Producer For Star Trek, Hawaii 5-0, & Amazing Spider-Man 2
What a sad and tragic loss. In addition to everything else written in the article, he was a true fan who loved writing for us. I how he would actually respond to our posts and questions when trekmovie was a new site, too. What a guy.
Star Trek's New Movie Continues The Franchise Curse That Started 46 Years Ago
Agree with Andy. And, simply put, S31 was just bad. Nothing more need be said.
I've always had a problem with saying that ST3 was a bad, or disappointing movie. I accept that it would have been extremely difficult to ever release a movie as good as ST2, especially back to back, but ST3 was and is a solid movie and a worthy member of the only true trilogy in the Trek movie universe.
The 4 Biggest Things Star Trek Fans Want In 2025
Agree with both prior posts. I'm sick of Kelvin-verse and lens flares and fungus drives. Picard S3 was great. Even Discovery S2 was OK (I'm being charitable). We want prime Star Trek, and especially more Kirk for f@%! sake. Let's get SNW cranking and move to our full TOS crew taking over and continuing their 5 year mission already!!! Have them re-shoot the ending of Turnabout Intruder and take it from there...
Why Kirk Was Promoted To Captain So Quickly In Star Trek's 2009 Movie
Battlefield promotions?! From Cadet to O-6? What military have you ever seen that has ever done anything even remotely comparable to that? Never in real life, or in any iteration of Star Trek (or any other show that I can ). And, this absurdity isn't solved because he was made an acting Commander in the field for 17 minutes, before Starfleet, not Pike, promoted him from Cadet to Captain. Please!
Why Kirk Was Promoted To Captain So Quickly In Star Trek's 2009 Movie
Yep, that's good.
Why Kirk Was Promoted To Captain So Quickly In Star Trek's 2009 Movie
I'll be less diplomatic than @Daniel-Bibby: that promotion was absurd and inexplicable. Total nonsense. I'm sure that JJ's crack writing team could've figured out how to solve the problem without the laziest of solutions. Perhaps a time jump. Really, anything would've made more sense than that. Come on.
The Latest Karate Kid Cameo Makes It So Much Weirder That Cobra Kai Hasn't Brought Back Hilary Swank's Julie Pierce
You heard it here first: she comes to Barcelona in one of the final episodes and tells Daniel about Miyagi's secret history with the Sekai Taikai, which Miyagi shared with her instead of Daniel.
Star Trek's Scotty Made A Long-Awaited Confession Almost 20 Years After His TOS Debut
Another article taking Scotty's jocular comments as literal truth. Enough already. It's as if somebody in the industry suddenly told people to start maligning Scotty for some reason. What happened, did his son demand too many royalties or something?
Jeri Ryan Is Right: Seven On Nine Isn’t A Sexual Character On Star Trek: Voyager
It’s entertaining to read how this article twists itself into a pretzel trying to explain away the sexiness of a skin tight catsuit on a flaming hot actress.
Star Trek 4's Long Delay Is A Direct Result Of J.J. Abrams' Biggest 2009 Reboot Change
Why not just make the movie about restoring the prime timeline? Am I the only one who's tired of this Kelvin nonsense? Just do what many other stories have done and make restoring the prime timeline the key to saving all of reality or something.
Is Star Trek’s Scotty Really A Miracle Worker? How USS Enterprise’s Engineer Got His Famous Nickname
Sorry for the autocorrect typos!
Is Star Trek’s Scotty Really A Miracle Worker? How USS Enterprise’s Engineer Got His Famous Nickname
Agree with @Samuel. There's no reason to take Scotty and Kirk's jocular banter literally, as this article seems to suggest, which would conclude that "all" of Scotty's estimates have "always" been multiple by a factor of 4. If so, he'd be a joke of an engineer and decided by his peers, which obviously is the opposite of true.
As great as he has already been portrayed, I believe that SNW will be showcasing his genius even more.
Enterprise Becomes Star Trek’s Only Ship Again In 2025
There's no need for any other ship. We want more Enterprise, period.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Plans To “Drive Right Into The Original Series,” Says EP
This is everything that OG fans could ever want. @Samuel, this can easily be done despite the more modern feel of the show. Imagine this: SNW gets to the point where Pike hands over command to Kirk. We then get to see Kirk's first mission as captain, which has thus far only been depicted in written form. At the end of that episode, BOOM: time jump, to the closing scenes of Turnabout Intruder, re-enacted by the new cast in a manner similar to how they re-enacted Balance of Terror. Then, the series continues by completing the final 2 years of Kirk's 5 year mission, straight through the years thereafter leading up to Kirk's promotion to iral and the VGer incident. WOW. Amazing stuff.
And if we're even more lucky, SNW will get more seasons to depict the intervening years between the movies (you can pick from various time frames), red uniforms and all!
This Star Trek: Voyager Episode Subtly Confirmed Captain Kirk Broke A TOS Promise
I think all the comments are spot on. There is no evidence whatsoever that Kirk actually "broke" his promise, either for the reasons stated by my fellow commentators, or because Kirk simply reported that he had met the real Da Vinci without revealing the identity or location of Flint. Indeed, the latter possibility is most plausible, considering that Janeway noted, "the evidence for the claim was inconclusive."
I'm Confused, I Thought Star Trek: Discovery Had Already Fixed Short Treks
Bravo. For some inexplicable reason, you are the first author to make these points. I'm glad that someone finally did. I can't for the life of me explain why we should care about the "second" connection to Calypso. It seems like a big nothingburger.
