Sorry, Berry, but Melvin Belli had his main practice in San Francisco. He may have kept a satellite office in Los Angeles for convenience when he had a case venues there, but that was a sideline for him. He maintained his office and his home in San Francisco until his death. In fact, one could still his office, maintained untouched as a sort of museum to "the King of Torts", and peer in the street-level window to see it for years after I was working not far from there at the time and ed it twice a day going to and from my work place. I am not sure it is still there today.
