the bond series, in the hands of the original owners, had several

'stinkers'. not so hot cinema.

several of the earlier bond movies would never had been

made in todays 'cancel culture'.

given the success of several recent shows/series on amazon (think 'reacher'), the bond franchise should have

a bright future!

prior to the latest 'bond' series

with mr. craig, the james bond saga(s) had a large number of

'campy' if not 'goofy' feature

films to their credit. yet they always seemed to 'pull it off'

at the box office. mr. craigs' version in "casino royale" saved

the bond enterprise. even then

a couple of the last movies

were 'so so'. the james bond

franchise needed new blood.

new ideas. a new path forward.

amazon productions will 're-

invent' bond (think 'reacher'). hopefully/probably for the better! big screen movies are

on the decline. too expensive

to make with too expensive of stars & production costs.
