They completely abandoned their storyline. Seriously. The son of the Creator and the only survivor of the race of beings he called his greatest creation, the key to everything, and his son's new soulmate and love (I had high hopes) in the real world in the flesh. Disney: "Who cares. We wanna get as far away from that as possible cause the rebooted cash cow rules, real writing drools!"

Congrats on finishing the movie. Too bad I'll never see it. Disney spent too much time putting out retread cash cows like Pete's Dragon and Jungle Book when they had Garrett and Olivia committed to the movie and all the room there was to actually do what Disney used to do all the time and write an interesting original and contiguous next chapter. And it was looking to be so exciting with Quorra in the real world. Only for them to shelf it for garage nobody cared about and then come back 14 years later with obligatory Jared Leto? Quorra and Sam just and their storyline abandoned with nothing even approaching a good excuse considering who they are? No. This trend of not being able to finish must end. Reboots must end. Lack of originality and imagination must end. Or relinquish the "imagineering" moniker because the writers have lost them the right to it by association.
No. I actually quit my job at Disney because I couldn't forgive the direction they were going, and I'll never forgive. And I wasn't just whistling Dixie. Because 4 years later, after the Marvel, Star Wars, and Snow White debacles they pull this, and then have the nerve to do another live action Lion King as if they still don't know lions can't facially emote? We were laughing in dismay when we previewed the last one on the studio grounds and we worked there for crying out loud. What's happened to such an iconic company?!
