This article is wrong. The Kelvans are an extragalactic species and they made with Kirk's Enterprise. Kirk and the original Enterprise also made with Mudd's androids who originally came from Andromeda. Do better research.

You are wrong. Maul lost only because Obi-Wan momentarily tapped into his grief and anger, allowing a surge of power from the Dark Side. Maul wasn't a showoff, he fought Qui-Gon to a draw on a single blade, and also had Obi-Wan nearly beaten with a single blade. He used dual blades to fight two enemies.
