Honor Among Thieves 2 Uncertainty Makes Its Most Promising Replacement Even More Necessary
Yeah, it was a rough time for what was, ultimately, a pretty solid film. The timing was just awful and they really should've delayed release but I think they were hoping it would distract more fans from the problems and are now annoyed that it isn't. Hasbro clearly want to milk DnD and the community for all their worth and for as long as they can.
The film did still make a profit, they're just angry that their actions didn't get them as much money as they wanted. When you look at it, they didn't lose anything, you can't lose money you don't already have, and you're not entitled to a profit.
I don't think it needs a TV show, or to be turned into a "cinematic universe". Just one, solid, sequel - if that - but it's really not worth it. I do hope that it encourages filmmakers to go back to hard-core fantasy films, though. I'm sick of everything being tied to a franchise.

I feel like no matter what, some ridiculous profit driven exec is shooting their own industry in the foot somehow and it's too the detriment of creators and consumers
