I feel specifically reminded of the duel between Yugi and Joey that happened on the water that Marik set up where he was mind controlling Joey, Yugi spent most of the duel as himself rather than the Pharaoh, trying to break through to Joey. There's a lot going on there but it does showcase Yugi as a duelist quite a bit as well in an extremely emotional duel. That one made me cry ngl
