See AllWhy Does The MCU's Silver Surfer CGI Look So Weird
Wow. Unpopular take. Gladiator 2 exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds and had zero issues with Pedro's performance there. The Last of Us has been outstanding and as much as I enjoy the Remastered game and the exclusive experiences you can only get from the game, I prefer the Joel and Ellie that Pedro and Bella have created. Luckily you're not a casting director.
Why Does The MCU's Silver Surfer CGI Look So Weird
It's 2025 and I'm shocked that people are still out here dwelling on the quality of GGI in a trailer. Not long ago people were complaining about the CGI in Furiosa's trailer and refusing to see it and the final cut ended up being amazing. There is story after story of a movie's CGI looking like crap as little as a month or 2 weeks from release and it was drastically improved in the final cut. Wait and see mentality is perfectly normal but a hard no based on CGI in a trailer is funny to me.
The Beast Games Winner Had A Dramatic Journey To $10 Million Prize (I'm So Glad The Right Person Finally Won)
Good article but there is an error stating that the doubling of the grand prize money came after Jeffrey correctly guessed a coin flip. It was player 974 Gage Gallagher's correct guess of the coin flip that doubled the grand prize. Easily one of the wildest and monumental moments in the history of game shows. It provided the ultimate cliffhanger leading into the finale and sparked one of the biggest reactions we have seen from Mr. Beast himself. Because the show was over budget and most show runners or hosts would have bailed on that idea because there were no obligations or consequences that would come from backing out if they realized they couldn't afford it. Jimmy was convinced that no one would risk their spot for that offer. His surprise that he lost 5 million so quickly was as genuine of a reaction I've seen.
Furiosa Begins Making Up For Its Box Office Letdown & Gives A Glimmer Of Hope For Mad Max's Future
The production of the 2015 film "Fury Road" will go down in legend as one of the most challenging and difficult films ever made. The fact that it survived all the drama and crossed the finish line after 20+ years of setbacks still left many worried that it may be cursed and destined for failure. Nearly every studio exec and actor attached to the film struggled to see George's vision because of next to nothing of a script and was reliant on very detailed storyboards. This consistent vibe of uncertainty ended up contributing to the believability of the Wasteland and most critics and fans were in agreement that the film was a masterpiece, despite not featuring the actor that made the title role so famous many years ago.
Many diehard fans learned that during the 20+ years of setbacks, George did create and write a full script of backstory for Furiosa's character. The Furiosa backstory script was instrumental in the casting and the audition process. It was George's most successful tool for generating excitement that he could breathe life into a new era of this universe. 2 prequel scripts were created before casting Fury Road and any chance of either movie being made was dependant on Fury Road's success. George never viewed making these films with the same confidence as James Cameron has with Avatar. He gambled on doing the Furiosa prequel before the Wasteland prequel because of the excitement it generated behind the scenes. It was a gamble that may have had a chance if he didn't name the universe and first film after the main character. Do you think Rogue One would have the same box office success if the original film and universe were called Luke Skywalker instead of Star Wars?
I found Furiosa to be every bit the masterpiece that Fury Road was and my only disappointment was the lack of 3d. But the Dolby Vision and Atmos successfully eased my pain and are still worthy of a Chef's Kiss. Ignore the guy above and see this film immediately if still on the fence.
