See AllBridgerton Season 5 Has No Choice But To Change Eloise's Book Story Entirely
Wow, there's so much wrong with this article I don't know where to begin. Philip is not abusive, the story presented in TSP,WL is a bit more complex than what you've put forth here. Marina in the show is quite different from Marina in the book, I would argue shes actually quite unlikable and hard to relate to, and what we saw of her in season 2 didn't endear her to me more either (Plus the actress doesn't seem like she's interested in returning because of her own mental health struggles so that presents an opportunity to change up Eloise's season as well...)
At the end of the day, I think Marina will tragically in the show as she did in the books. I think Philip and Eloise's story is the second best one of the series (ahem, Kanthony) and there are several ways to adapt it to fit with her identity as we've come to know her in the show - but Theo is a non-starter. I can only suspend my disbelief so much, and the showrunner is already pushing it with sca's plotline into faraway land, so Eloise and Philip need to be endgame. Plus Theo looks like her legit twin brother, sry not sry.
