I saw the 5 movies for the first time in my life 2 weeks ago, tbh I don't know what to feel about them the first one was just a masterpiece, Will Jack James Elizabeth and Barbosa were all great characters and they had their own significant and important roles in the movie, something that really made me love this movie is the every-5-minutes betrayals of the main characters to each other that really made the movie more unpredictable every time they did this and I really REALLY loved it and enjoyed it, 2nd and 3rd movies they were fantastic too as a continuation of the story they introduced new important roles such as Davy Jones and his ex I don't her name and the East India Company guy, once again keeping the betrayal element and loved it once again they gave a end to everyones story in the third movie they could end it there and everything would be great 😃 but nope they released the 4th movie which honestly was a disappointment no element of betrayal no ship fighting at all and for what purpose the 4th movie was made for? It felt like the contribution of the 4th movie to the story as a whole it was how jack got black pearl back... In a bottle that's all. (I loved Blackbeard tho and his sword and ship thing). 5th and final movie it was meh, meh in the meaning of finally showing familiar faces such as will and Elizabeth which made the 5th movie to actually contribute something to the whole story also gave us their son as the main character but my main problem with this movie is that the whole Salazar backstory just felt like it was scripted in 5 minutes "Make a really really powerful guy with the biggest ship that looks like a castle on sea, he destroys every pirate in the world but one day he s a cave and dies"... Also since the trident broke all curses shouldn't be Davy Jones be a normal guy like he was in the cell with his ex in the third movie? But nope he was a squid guy even tho everyone else lost their powers
