I have watched many movies and tv shows in which close friendships are strained or dissolved because one bestie falls in love with his/her bestie and I have been disappointed. I think the bond between best friends is something to be cherished, so I think the show is taking the strong feelings Buck expressed when Eddie makes the decision to move in the wrong direction. They are the best of friends, ( Buck also has a special bond with Christopher), of course Buck is going to be upset his best friend has moved away and a long distance friendship is going to be difficult to maintain. I like Buck and Eddie's friendship and it should not change. Why ruin a beautiful platonic friendship that the viewers enjoying seeing.
