See AllSwitch 2's GameCube Virtual Console Is Great, But I Wish I Could Just Buy The Games
This is the primary reason Switch is the first Nintendo console I didn't purchase. I had every one from NES through Wii U. But when they got rid of the virtual console..(and if my memory on my Wii corrupts again...I lose all of my purchases with no way to re them😡). I refused to buy one. I will not pay $50 a year to "rent" games. I don't play all that many, so it would be for just a few. Wind Waker is my favorite non top down Zelda game. And the very last Zelda game I liked at all. Sell it to me..or I don't want it. The Switch 2 only has two confirmed games that I would even play (Mario Kart, Star Wars Outlaws). $500 is too much for something that I would get very little use out of.
I don't like the following:
3D Mario games
3d DK games
Pokemon anything
Metroid Prime
Smash Brothers games
Anything Anime based
So, i'd really only be buying it for:
Mario Kart
Mario Golf
Punch out
2d DK games
2d Mario games
2d Metroid games
Wind Waker
Old top down Zelda games
Switch sports
Some of these may never come to Switch 2. So, yeah $500 for something that only plays games is a tough sell to me. Can't even use it for Netflix or streaming content.
I've always been opposed to roms, but if Nintendo won't sell the games I want to me...I may have to resort to that.
