10 Female Singers With The Biggest Voices In Music History
Here's one everyone missed: Karen Carpenter.
Not only could she belt out a tune, but she did it in perfect pitch and a ridiculously large range. I don't think anyone is even close to her.
Megalopolis' Comeback Is the Project Francis Ford Coppola Should Have Made From the Start
I wanted to like Megalopolis. I was hoping the bad reviews were just an unpopular opinion, but they weren't. I watched the whole thing, but I didn't want to. I think FF Coppola has lost his mind to put so much into it and that is the result? Such a long way from the Godfather.
I'm Still Annoyed This Star Trek: The Next Generation Character Was Only In 2 Episodes Before Disappearing
Ashley had bigger and better things on her horizon. She was cute as all get out though.
Every Robert De Niro Gangster Role Ranked Worst To Best
How about De Niro mob movies where he doesn't play a mobster.
1. A Bronx Tale
I think that's it.
We Love Tombstone, But 10 Things About It Haven't Aged Well
No it is not historically accurate in all details, but then again it does not claim to be. It is entertainment and it does very well at that.
It seems like looking for redeeming values from the Cowboys, is like looking for redeeming values from the Tangerine Tyrant. Everything they do is to benefit them, and don't get in their way.
Small bit of trivia: Maddie Earp is buried in a small desert graveyard just outside the town of Superior Arizona. I wonder what she would think of her part in this western soap opera.
The Electric State Review: I Think The Russos’ New Netflix Blockbuster Might Actually Be Harmful To Movies
No one is stopping you from wasting your time, feel free. I hope you love it, then it won't be a waste of time.
The Electric State Review: I Think The Russos’ New Netflix Blockbuster Might Actually Be Harmful To Movies
The author knows about the Clap On commercials. The point is that it is a lazy and unfunny joke to actually say it, while just clapping and the light coming on is trusting that the audience gets it. Do they need to say bang before shooting a gun?
The Electric State Review: I Think The Russos’ New Netflix Blockbuster Might Actually Be Harmful To Movies
The "dumbing down" of movies has been going on for decades. I would venture a guess that 95% of movies made are basically unwatchable. Movie making has become lazy, new ideas are far and few and actual smart movies are even fewer. The percentage goes down significantly for scifi movies. For every Arrival or Interstellar there are hundreds of straight to video garbage. Even Dune, which is an excellent movie is rehashed and known material. How many times do they have to remake The Willy Wonka before they it that the Gene Wilder version is always going to be the best? Don't even get me started on comic book superhero movies. Ugh.
10 Great Neo-Western Movies If You Love Taylor Sheridan's TV Shows
The best 2 movies on this list are No Country and 3 Burials. It's not a coincidence that Tommy Lee Jones is a big part of both of them. I really didn't like The Will Be Blood as I find much of what Daniel Day Lewis does is profoundly overacted and this one is no exception. Not all, but much.
10 Incredible Guitar Riffs On Songs That Nobody Will it They Love
"... nobody will it they love."
Really?
10 Best Small-Town Crime Movies Ever Made
I've seen most of these and I can attest that they are very, very good with a couple, Fargo and No Country being, in my opinion, 2 of the top 10 movies ever made. Also I would like to say, A Touch Of Evil is light years better than Welles more famous and tragically overrated film, Citizen Kane.
2 honorable mentions on this list are Wind River and Hell Or High Water. If you have not seen these 2, you must.
One not on this list is a little movie by first time director Tommy Lee Jones called The 3 Burials of Melquiades Estrada. It is a bit slow paced, but very rich in character development.
10 Best Lawmen From TV Westerns
I like all of these of course, but to me Seth Bullock in Deadwood stands out. I find his portrayal to be realistic in that his moral com was at time skewed. He also knew when live to fight another day. Totally realistic because it is based on a real person.
John Wayne's Final Western With His Son Patrick Marked A Surprising First For Them Both
Big Jake was not Wayne's final western. His final movie was. It would be very difficult to call The Shootist anything but a western.
Why Captain Kirk's Tombstone Said "James R. Kirk" In Star Trek Season 1
They probably thought, who cares, no one will notice.

No mention of Tom Waits in Buster Scruggs?
Kevin Costner's Horizon 2 Release Gets Exciting Update As Sequel Sets New Festival Premiere
Part 1 definitely deserved more love. I am invested in the characters, that is 75% of the battle. Add in the cinematography and you got yourself a movie.
33 Years Later, This Daniel Day-Lewis Movie With 88% On Rotten Tomatoes Is Still The Best Western War Movie Of All Time
I'm not much of a DDL fan, but Mohicans was a very, very good movie. Lewis did not overact the role like he so often does. Plus the story is an excellent example of early American literature. Also noteworthy is the realistic depiction of Native Americans. Not like the usual racist depictions in John Wayne movies.
Netflix's New Western Series Becomes Global Success
This is a good Western series if you can stomach the violence and gore. Both of which is plentiful in every single episode. The violence is as in your face as I have ever seen. It is in every episode and no one is exempt. The gore may not be as far as Bone Tomahawk, but it isn't far off. One character survives scalping and you are treated to a festering wound the rest of the series.
The male characters are one dimensional. The 2 main female characters are a bit more interesting in that you definitely see an evolution in their characters.
I am currently in the middle of the last episode so I don't know all of what happens. I had to stop watching when the wife came home, it is that violent.
It is important to note that this is a fictional using some real characters. While much is exaggerated, the actions in general of Brigham Young and the Mormons is well documented in history. But in reality, pretty much all religion has it's messy history.
The Godfather Trilogy's 5 Consigliere Characters Explained
Connie could have been the best, later, in part III, she was depicted as smart, ruthless, determined, and she was family. What disqualifies her rating as the best is that she spent the first 2 movies being an impulsive, entitled and selfish louse and she hated Michael. I didn't read the book so I know nothing of Genco and Clemenza was running his own arm of the family. Tom was the best because he was so even headed. Michael didn't need a yes man in that position and Tom knew that when the Don made a decision, he would carry it out. He never faltered, even if Michael didn't see him as a wartime consigliere.
Every John Cazale Movie Ranked — Does The Late Actor Really Have The Perfect Filmography?
It is astounding. 5 movies. 5 Best Picture noms. 3 wins.
Why no acting noms? Because he was a character actor. He was never a leading man. His characters were always a bit challenged and of course he did not have leading man looks. But a fine actor because you believed him in every scene.
