See AllDisney's Snow White Remake Has Now Been Banned In One Country
None of Disney's love action remakes have the simplicity and charm of their animated originals. Quite frankly, every viewer compares the 2 and the remakes lose everytime. After having enough bad remakes thrown at us, we're done with remakes. Disney needs to start doing original movies again, even if they are based on existing fairy tales, and if they're smart, they'll stick with animation. Even "live action" originals like 'Mufasa' flopped because there's nothing live action in CGI lions. There are plenty of traditional folk stories and fairy tales out there, so available material isn't an excuse. It's just laziness that has them going back to what they've already done.
Original, Unedited Star Wars Without Lucas Changes Streaming On Roku: What Is Going On?
I have the original trilogy. It's the sole reason I keep a VHS player. I haven't played them in a while, though, so not sure how good the video tape is anymore. They are from 1990, and the only difference from what we saw in the theaters is that the first one has the "Episode IV A New Hope" title.
10 Disney Villains That Would Be Impossible To Create Today
Wrong take on Beast. Nobody disputes that he is a kidnapper and at least verbally abusive, but he doesn't need "tender care from a pretty girl to overcome his problems". What he needed, and got, was someone who stood up to him and let him know that he wasn't the most important person in the world. His staff couldn't do it because he considered them beneath him, but Belle could. He learned empathy by watching her grieve for her father and mix with his staff. Letting her go was the first selfless act of his life, but that wasn't enough to break the spell. In loving him back, Belle taught him that consideration of and empathy with others would get him farther than by simply ordering people about. That's way beyond just TLC from a pretty girl, which has no impact on the truely self-centered.
