I watched Captain Marvel twice.

The first time, just because, and the second time ,because I couldn't much about the movie.

I figured that maybe I was tired or distracted the first time, but no, the movie was just, "Meh".

Still, to this day, nothing about this movie stands out.

I didn't hate it, but I definitely won't watch it again

Seeing how many Fast and Furious sequels were made, and looking for a movie franchise to watch, I searched for and found Fast and Furious 1.

I attempted to watch it, even stayed with it for an hour, but the movie was so bad that I couldn't watch any more.

I guess it's just not my cup of tea.

The wait for the next season was dragged out long before covid and the strike. Perhaps not as long of a wait, but since a season consisted of a pathetic 8 episodes, it was unacceptable. By the time the next "season" arrived, you've not only forgotten what went on last season, but in many cases, you've now lost interest in the show altogether.

They should ditch Captain Marvel.

My wife calls these "man movies" and for the most part she's right. The audience is predominantly male and men tend to frown on a character played by a man hating woman. Hence part of the reason everything associated with Captain Marvel has flopped.

I thought that this was a bad idea as well.

Steve Rogers is an enhanced human (super soldier) and that's what enables him to be Captain America, where Sam Wilson has no enhanced abilities other than his flying suit.

The 2 big problems I see with all of these series is that a season is a mere 8 episodes and it takes them multiple years to get out the next season.

A lot of shows that I really enjoyed, take so long for the next season that I lose all interest in the show.

With only 8 episodes per season, I see no reason why it should take mire than 1 rear to produce 8 hours more of a show.

With the possible exception of the Chris Pine movies, Star Trek has been a huge disappointment, starting with "The Next Generation".

I feel that most of these shows didn't come close to the chemistry of the original series.

Over think much?

I personally enjoyed the movies, it's entertainment and more to the point "fiction".

But I assume that you had to write SOMETHING in order to get paid.

My wife was in love with Don Johnson back when Miami Vice was big on TV.

A boy and his dog was playing in the theater back then and I got her to go see it wth me by telling her tha Don Johnson starred in it.

Bot was she pissed.😅😅😅😅

Good fit for the character, but I'm getting kinda tired of seeing Jason Momoa in EVERYTHING!

He's becoming like the new Morgan Freeman, or Tom Hanks. You like the actor, but enough already, there has to be other actors out there.
