Data did not take over at Cambridge, Riker didn’t command the Enterprise, the Klingon Empire storyline was a big “nope”, Picard and Crusher never married, and so much more…

Don’t get me wrong…it was cool to watch. But even Q said it was one possible future.

And if we erase Nemesis, maybe a better one!

The loss of Leto was absolutely devastating for Chani as the storyline progressed.

As the incredible movies went on, I found myself thinking about Leto II and how they could possibly ever recover.

As it turns out, they did not. And the movie lost something that was crucial, beautiful, and beyond integral to the storytelling of Dune & Arrakis.

I’m honestly not sure that it can be fixed!
