Season 2 may have been a good foundation for later seasons and even work well on its own .

But I sure wish it had been made as a show of its own, without any claims of following from Season 1.

Season 1 was something of a sci-fi show. Seasons 2+ are fantasy with only the flimsiest veneer of technology tropes. It was a very welcome whiplash, that consumed most of what was promising in the first season.

In my headcannon "The 100" was cancelled in its first season and then came its replacement: "The Other 100 From a Fantasy World". AKA as "The Warrior Princess That Fell From the Sky".

Perhaps a good enough show on its own . I fear I won't know.
