Given the huge cheer that went up when Wesley Snipes reappeared in "Deadpool and Wolverine," maybe they should do what everyone wants and just cast the actor who defined the role and character in the first place! Another actor would only suffer comparisons with him anyway!

As they've got to the read-through stage it looks hopeful that they will at least do a pilot. I think it would be a good series, they were all great, funny ing characters in their own right and would probably work well as an ensemble cast. If it's successful I'm sure of the original series would be open to doing guest appearances. I hope it gets a shot. And I love the title!

The movie is supposed to be about him abandoning Peter Parker and being Spider-Man full-time. The Black Cat prefers Spider-Man to Peter Parker. The actress won't necessarily have red hair in the movie....

If she has been cast, the red hair may be misleading people into making (ittedly obvious) assumptions. Her hair may not be red in the eventual movie.

As the movie's storyline is said to be about him virtually abandoning his Peter Parker persona and being "Spider-Man 24/7," he could meet a certain feline female character who, in the comics, PREFERS him in that identity anyway!

Just a thought....

As someone who used to work with the elderly I know how easily they can be abused and how WRONG that is!

BUT I find it somewhat equally sad and ironic that it's alleged that he was unfairly used to generate huge amounts of income for others when he himself is alleged to have used the creative efforts of others when "co-creating" all the characters which generated huge amounts of income for others and himself while those artists saw no money whatsoever and some of them died virtually penniless!

Plus, would this "movie" not be further exploiting Stan's name?

Thanos' love of Mistress Death should have been his motivation for gaining the Infinity Gauntlet in the movies! Wiping out 50% of life was his way of courting her in the comics, whereas justifying it on screen as a cull to free up resources changed it to appear as an almost benevolent act to benefit the world (albeit a heartless one) rather than to benefit his own warped and selfish desires!
