This Star Trek Season 1 Episode Was Banned In The UK For Over 20 Years
I watched all of these in the 60s as a small child. They didn't traumatize or even make me uncomfortable.
After 36 Years, Star Trek Is Finally Calling Out Its Most Controversial Movie
In later years, Roddenberry was bitter about being removed from active participation, and frankly the shows and movies got better with his removal. The franchise was finally able to move forward and tell better stories after he left.

"Not My Star Trek!": Section 31 Director Addresses Concerns About New Movie & Its Divisive Organization
Roddenberry would hate this, so I'm sure it'll be awesome! He held back the franchise badly. Trek greatly improved as soon as he was away from it. The movies after TMP were amazing, and the shows benefited from being able to tell better stories, without the famous Roddenberry box that disallowed real human behavior. Unpopular opinion: Star Trek is better since he died, and I'm glad it did.
Star Trek TV Shows Are Set Until 2026 Or Later, But Why Does It Feel Like The Franchise Is Failing?
Crappy screen name matches the opinion. Trek improved when Roddenberry died.
I'm Convinced The Dark Knight Trilogy Made It Impossible For Another DC Movie To Ever Truly Pull Off Batman’s Origin Story
Absolutely. The Dork Knught trilogy blew chunks.

Not of the Enterprise, nor was he First Officer of the Enterprise.
How Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight 4 Could Bring Back Glen Powell
No. This terrible franchise needs to rest in peace, not to ever be revisited. Worst Joker, worst Bruce/Batman, the only saving grace was Alfred.
