Don't believe for one second that any suit was damaged. The overwhelming popularity of Cavill is what's prompted Gunn to fuel a narrative that has at the very least, two actors SO much taller than Cavill ( ie "more potent Supermen") that his poor "little man" suit was destroyed. Utter nonsense. Cavill was perfect. Propaganda won't change the fact. Hopefully, Corenswet delivers. Gunn's evident fear doesn't bode well though.
