In "The Devil in the dark" episode of Star Trek, I'd like to think they didn't leave women out of speaking roles on purpose, but once it was brought out, amends were in the making. Two heads are better than one, what's the fuss? It was noticed, voiced and corrected. Don't be so quick to fight before you get all the info.
