They definitely needed to continue with the story. The final card of the closing credits of the final episode said that they were going to be back. There could be plenty of more adventures.

Let's not forget Arnold Schwarzenegger in AC/DC's Big Gun from the Last Action Hero soundtrack. Apparently Arnold is a huge AC/DC fan and asked the band to write a song for the movie. One of the best parts is when he picks up the Angus cap and puts it on and is transformed into a jumbo sized copy of Angus and then started mimicking him.

What I like about Brosnan's Bond is that with him being a Bond fan himself, he took his favorite parts of his predecessors portrayal and used that as his portrayal of the character.

That is why the EU / Legends stories are so good. Luke built upon the foundations of the old Jedi teachings and evolved the Jedi to meet the challenges posed by what is going on now. And train a new generation of Jedi.

I do Walter telling a slightly different version of the story at a convention. In this version Checkov was a junior officer who had no yet been assigned to bridge duty. Apparently Kahn was suffering from a case of Romulus's Revenge due to him eating something that didn't agree with his super human stomach. He's standing outside of the first bathroom he could find, but it was occupied. He is about to burst when Checkov comes out. He gives Checkov an intense stare and said "I will you."

The relationship between Riley and Val is more of the love a pair of sisters have. She sees Val as a role model, and mentor and as the story progresses she becomes more like a big sister to Riley. People need to stop reading too much into the situation.

Throwing out what is now the Legends timeline was a huge mistake. They threw out over 20 years worth character development and storylines. Granted the Solo family did have its share of tragedy over the years. I especially loved the lost tribe of the Sith storyline and when Abeloth escaped its captivity and caused major issues for everyone to the point that Luke and his son essentially brokered a shaky truce with the Sith to hunt it down.

There are certain movies that you don't touch when it comes to remakes. There are 4 Kurt Russell movies that immediately come to mind. One did have a disastrous remake. Escape From NY, Escape From LA, and Big Trouble in Little China. These 3 movies are a case of lightning in a bottle. Then you have the disastrous remake of Overboard. It lacked the chemistry between the leads that made Kurt and Goldie's performance so much fun, and the original had a much better ing cast.

Another classic that shouldn't be messed with when it comes to remakes that someone wants to remake is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

I thought that season 1 translated to live action pretty good. Some people complained that it was too slow paced, but they spent season 1 world building. Some who know the series very well might think that things were slow, but it was paced so someone who knew nothing about the series would understand the story. They also learned from the huge mistake they made with Cowboy Bebop, don't stray too far from the source material. I am anxiously waiting for season 2 to drop.

The so called fued was nothing but marketing hype and they both played along. It's no different from the times they The Rock was the heel character while he was wrestling. They always have been good friends.

I would rather they did a sequel. Xur escaped and Alex and Grig were tasked with rebuilding the Starfighter Leigon. Along with that we obviously would be seeing the latest generation Gunstar. Xur comes back with a new evil ally with even more dangerous firepower. Then it's up to Alex and Grig, or maybe even their kids to once more save the universe.
