It's funny how everyone's celebrating season 3 as the best season yet while I, for the first time, felt like it didn't do justice to the books, fair enough there where great scenes and overall depiction of the Aiel and Sea folk, but little things like loial's death??, Moraine surviving her fight with lanfear, and a romantic relationship between Elayne and Avehnda, these things where the final straw for me.

Glad they ended it( although still hoping someone revives it and do a better job)

The show's not that bad , but they keep displacing or changing major events that have serious consequences to how the story's meant to go. Moraine's death is one of that catalyst for rand's madness manifesting , without it he won't make certain decisions and mistakes that shape him. It also affects Egwene's storyline because there's noway the salidar six would choose her when Moraine is the better candidate. They had an opportunity to give Moraine and lanfear a beautiful "send off" but now it's just being dragged out.

The only changes I liked in the show was Suan's death ,I feel like it should have happened in the books really. And removing Nynaeve's block sooner rather than later cuz there was noway she should have survived so long without channeling properly.

That said, I hope season 4 gets greenlit, they make less mistakes as the go.
