Well your not quite accurate. The writers and actor strike delayed production of Yellowstone and allegedly Sheridan delayed providing scripts for the next Yellowstone episodes. This delay by strike and Sheridan slow pace to provide scripts bumped into the time frame of Costners Horizon production. It is inytt re eating to note that Sheridan allegedly also failed to comply with Costners contract on the characters demise (death) in addition to Costners assertion of back pay not forthcoming

1923 has evolved into a long drawn out soap opera conclusion. There are certain scenes of great entertainment but the overall pace of 1923 is a log jam.
If Spencer Dutton ever arrives at Yellowstone it may be in real time 2030 and at this screen pace.
The writing Talent and Egos aside have wore out my patience with stumbling thru this season. Again there are some great scenes but overall this is getting boring.

I disagree that the finale was satisfying episode. Too many loose ends to tie up in one 50 minute episode. The finale script appears to be a simple walk thru and still left many questions unanswered.
The biggest question is why CBS would dump a highly rated series. Maybe CBS has an age thing that any series running this long must be bad?
