Rewatched the newsroom and loved the fact that real time events were used as source material. Now in 2025 many of the aspects that were depicted seem so predictive rather than over the top which may have been the case when it was first aired. If there was ever a time that we needed a show that depicted the aspirational ideals we should live up to as the west wing and newsroom did it would be now.
