I enjoyed American Primeval but it has a very dark world view. It would be good for another season. The filming and acting on Territory was great but not very likable characters and story was not compelling.

Sounds like Phenomenon with John Travolta which was really bad. My feeling is telekinesis and telepathy can be fun sci-fi but why bother with the scientific explanation. Have them born that way. Escape to Witch Mountain. There was also a book called The Chrysalis that was very good.
