What plot hole immediately broke a movie's immersion for you?

Many movies and shows try their best to obey real world rules and avoid plot holes, like the underwater fight scene in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, when the bullets stopped shortly after being fired. Other movies, however, sometimes have glaring plot holes that ruin the immersion. For me, I can't stand when there's a surprise witness or piece of evidence in a legal drama. It's like the writers have never heard of discovery, nothing is a surprise to the lawyers in a courtroom! Is there one that immediately breaks your immersion whenever you see it, like bullets going far deeper in water than they should?

What are the best Rick and Morty episodes?

With seven seasons and over 70 episodes, there are a ton of Rick and Morty episodes to choose, and most of them could easily be considered one of the show's best. I think the best episode of Rick and Morty was season 2, episode 4, "Total Rickall." It was such a unique idea to base an episode around, and it introduced Mr. Poopybutthole, one of my favorite side characters. What's your favorite, and why that one?

What happened to the sixth replicant mentioned at the start of Blade Runner?

In the original Blade Runner, an early line mentioned that there were six replicants who had gone rogue. Some versions of Blade Runner's script mention a replicant named Mary, and that she either died of natural causes or was brutally retired by Deckard in the film's third act. I personally like the idea that Mary was the sixth replicant, and that Deckard retired her. I think it adds even more moral grayness to the job of a Blade Runner, and it makes Batty and the other replicants' rage at him in the film's final moments even more justified. Do you think Mary really was the sixth replicant? If so, what really happened to her? If not, is there room for the Blade Runner franchise to explore the sixth replicant further?

What do you think about The Acolyte's changes to Star Wars canon?

The Acolyte has already made a few significant changes to Star Wars canon in its first three episodes. It established that there was not a great era of peace before the Clone Wars and introduced two new characters - Mae and Osha Aniseya - that were born without a father, like Anakin Skywalker was. I personally think The Acolyte's changes could pay off really well later in the season, and that they likely will be building to a massive and satisfying reveal. Do you think The Acolyte had a good reason to make those changes?

The Pitt
10/10

I feel confident in saying it's the best medical drama I've ever seen. Rarely does a show tackle such heavy real-world topics with so much grace and nuance. Rarely does a show create such captivating and complex characters. Rarely does a show make you feel so many disparate emotions in a single hour. The Pitt is anything but ordinary.

The Truman Show
10/10

It feels rare to find a big-budget, star-studded movie that's as beautiful, touching, moving, and thought-provoking as The Truman Show. Jim Carrey and Ed Helms are both at their absolute best, the entire concept is so novel that it became the only way to describe something that hadn't existed before, and it's just a joy to watch on every level. Truly a special film.

Such a beautiful show. It's almost fitting that Netflix canceled it, it's too strange and wonderful and experimental. It's one of those shows that feels like it was made explicitly for you, and for the few people who will like it, it's really something special.
