See All"The Mandalorian Is Dead": American Novelist Offers His Searing Critique Of Star Wars
Sadly I think he's right. Everything after Mando got his hands on the Dark Saber, for me at least, fell into the, "why do I care" pit. They set up a perfect reunion arc when Grogu goes with Luke, only to rush it in a series that wasn't even the Mandalorian, and suddenly the characters go from the compelling, "Lone Wolf and Cub" styling to a big mess of Mandalorian fan service. Once that happened the Shark jumped and I pretty much jumped off. I've less interest in the movie now than I have for a second season of the Acolyte. Hopefully reviews will prove me wrong but short of a surprising certified fresh I won't be paying theater money to see it and will probably have ed the mass D+ exodus by the time it limps to streaming.
Star Wars' New TV Show Needs To Avoid The Sequel Trilogy's Worst Villain Mistake
Actually, the archetype of Jod Na is already etched in the works of Robert Louis Stevenson. Jude Law's character runs parallel with the infamous Long John Silver whose grey shading was a highlight of the classic novel. Silver's depiction gives me hope that this new character will continue to dangle on the edge of redemption and never clearly to one side or the other regardless of what/who the Supervisor ends up being in the tale. That would also bode well for his future in Star Wars continuity. He can be the MCU's Loki in Star Wars' post Skywalker era.
10 Actors Who'd Make The Perfect Baylan Skoll For Ahsoka Season 2
I'm surprised so few speculative lists pertaining to this recast include Henry Cavill. He has the size and physicality, the jawline, and has demonstrated his ability to act with the controlled restraint the late Ray Stevenson infused into this character. Cavill also has TV experience and can work within the constraints of serialized shooting while elevating the project.

Oh, seriously, get over yourselves.
Did the two-year delay hurt House of the Dragon?
Absolutely. Networks have become way too comfortable taking their time, and production houses too fat in their project management. It is one thing for series that have a beginning, middle and end to come back, but serialized material like HotD needs to strike when the iron is still at the very least warm. Especially when your content is being paid for by the fans.
